Multi-informational auto tracking algorithm
Abstract
© 2017 American Scientific Publishers. All rights reserved. In this study we propose an algorithm to improve functionality of PTZ cameras to capture information of many targets in the scene. The algorithm partitions the scene into a 10×10-unit page to detect the situation of a system and then considers three states in which the system selects proper movement or zooming to continue auto tracking on many targets. In this algorithm, all movements and zooms of PTZ camera are based on two rules to keep the system in a safe state–not to lose the information of targets and to capture information in details.
