Abstract

A procedure for preparing the antibody of mungbean (Vigna radiata (L.) Wilzeck) leghemoglobin using synthetic oligopeptide is discussed. Results of the Western blot analysis revealed that the purified antibody crossreacted specifically with the leghemoglobins among the proteins extracted from mungbean root nodules. © 1993 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
