The effects of food price and income policies on the nutrition of low-income groups: a Philippine case-study.
Abstract
Evaluates the nutritional effects of food price and income policies and ranks target-group-oriented policies according to cost-effectiveness. Finds that income-stratum-specific analysis is essential to understand the distributional effects of food policies. The important link between income and nutritional status, the need for distribution-oriented economic growth, is emphasized. -from Author
