Role of Euborellia annulipes (Fabr) in the management of aphids infecting sweet sorghum
Issue Date
10-2011
Abstract
The preparatory capacity of E. annulipes at different growth stages offered with 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 Rhopalosiphum maidis and Longassina sacchari nymphs and adults was determined under a no choice test. Results obtained showed the potential of the biocon agent against the two aphid species. Further studies to determine predation capacity in the fields is recommended.
