Abstract
Earwigs (Dermaptera) are common predators of other arthropods but members of two small families are particularly associated with bats as ecto-parasites. The family Arixeniidae from Southeast Asia has also been known to occur in the Philippines based on three species from Mindanao and Palawan associated with molossid bats.
