Abstract

Short duration surveys of butterflies (Rhopalocera, Lepidoptera) of Mount Arayat, Pampanga were conducte in 1994-1995, 1997 and 1998. Forty-three species and sub-species under 30 genera in 6 families of the superfamily Papilionoidea and 4 genera of the Hesperiidae (Hesperioidea) were observed. A taxonomic cheklist is herein provided.
