Description of a new species of Masteria L. Koch, 1873 (Dipluridae: Masteriinae) with a World Catalogue
Abstract
© 2019 National Science Museum of Korea (NSMK) and Korea National Arboretum (KNA) A newly discovered species of Masteria L. Koch, 1873 collected under rock debris near the entrance of Pelpel cave from Pangasinan, Luzon island, Philippines, Masteria urdujae sp. nov. is described. It is the first masteriine species described from Northern Luzon and the third for the country. M. urdujae has six eyes, typical of the genus. It is currently the smallest of the recorded Indomalayan masteriine species.
