Abstract
This paper deals with ube (Dioscorea alata L.) as a compatible crop in horticulture - based agroforestry, utilizing live woody or herbaceous perennial horticultural crops as vine support. The growth habits of ube that complement the morphology and fruiting habits of certain perennial crops, and the cultural practice of growing ube with perennial horticultural crops are described.
