Abstract

Mathematical programming models are used by foresters for general management of forests lands. harvesting and wood processing. This paper surveys the use of mathematical programming models in forestry research in UPLB. In particular formulations of linear programming and goal programming models were examined. They were found to have similarities due to their commonality of concern and objectives in forests management and wood processing practice.
