Abstract

This paper has been developed to verify the existence of the nontrivial cube roots of one module P and modulo m. Using the concepts of quadratic residue, reciprocity Chinese Reminder theorem and some important results it was found out that the nontrivial cube roots of one modulo p exist if and only if p = 1 (modulo 6), p a prime. On the other hand, the nontrivial cube roots of one m exist.
