Abstract

The maximal Flow Algorithm was applied to assign resident members of the Society of Applied Mathematics of UPLB to associated task involved in every activity of SAM-UP. Data gathered on the non-graduating resident members of SAM-UP show the preferred task of every member. Based on the data, a network diagram was drown upon which the Maximal Flow Algorithm was applied. Results show how the Maximal flow Algorithm can determine the optimal number of resident members assigned to specific tasks while ensuring that all activities will be accomplished.
