Abstract

A personalized system of instruction on dynamic programming was designed. The instructional material was divided into four main chapters. The first chapters emphasized on the concepts of dynamic programming. while the last two chapters emphasized on the application of the concepts in the two main types of dynamic programming; deterministic and nondeterministics. Each chapter with an opening page, objectives and introduction. Each chapter ended with a summary, study questions or exercises and a glossary. Answers to questions are located in a separate section for the sake of organization. The instruction material used a variety of graphics and fancy fonts to emphasize important concepts and to simultaneously a pleasant eye pleasing presentation of dynamic programming.
