Abstract
The activities of the major practice were undertaken from January to March, 1979 at UPLBCA fruit Crops Orchard and Nursery for orchard and nursery management practicum and at Bo. Mayondon and Bo. San Antonio, Los Baños, Laguna for rural farm management. Postharvest handling and marketing of papayas was undertaken at Bo. Lalaan I, Silang, Cavite. It exposed the student practitioner to the actual orchard and nursery practices such as irrigation, pest and disease control, asexual propagation, fertilization, etc. It also exposed the student practitioner to postharvest handling and marketing of papayas.
