The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Philippines consists of four terminals, two runways and their associate taxiways. It has been fully operational in 1953. and been catering aircraft of different types and sizes. Due to technological advancements, larger and heavier aircraft are catered at NAIA. Since it has not been rehabilitated to cope with the demands of the aviation industry, it is vital to check the existing conditions of the airside physical characteristics in its compliance to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). It was found out that NAIA has not been complying with the ICAO standards for Types I) and E aircraft. In this regard, parameters such as airside capacity and aircraft delay were determined using the Federal Aviation Administration Comprehensive Handbook, to analyze the effects of the non-compliance of NAIA to cater Types D and E aircraft The determined hourly capacity is 74 ops' hr and the hourly aircraft delay is 24 min. The results showed that NAIA can accommodate a large number of aircraft in an hour, but the system could not assure the aircraft of a fast and continuous operation. The Level of Service (LOS) of the system was also determined using the IATA LOS Framework, and was known to be under LOS E, since unstable flow in the airfield and unacceptable delay experienced.
