Abstract
A virtual laboratory experiment in introductory digital electronics was done to "students belonging to Aphy 101 class of the Physics Department of The University of the Philippines Los Banos, Laguna. The experiment was done by means of an interactive software. Pre-Test and Post-Tests were given to gather immediate feedback on the experiment. The T-test shows a higher increase in the Mean of the Experimental Group as compared to the Mean of the Controlled Group. Thus, it can be concluded that the virtual laboratory made is a reliable source for learning in introductory digital electronics. However, although the experiment was efficient and effective, it cannot replace lectures given by instructors in a regular classroom environment. It is recommended that this experiment be done only to supplement customary mode of teaching and not as the primary source of learning.
