Abstract

The taxonomic study of Family Rutaceae was con-ducted in Kalinga-Apayao and Cagayan provinces. Wet method was used to preserved the plant specimens that had been collected in the area of study.There are about 6 genera and 17 species of Family Rutaceae collected and identified in the study area. The wild species presents were Atalantia disticha, Bergera, crenulata, Lunasia =a:a, Murravk paniculata, Triphasik trifolia, Triphasia grandifolia and Zanthoxvlum rhetaa some of which are brought down for ornamental. Relatives of citrus were found cultivated in large scales because of its medical and commercial values such as; C.sinensis, C. maxima, L aurantium, reticulata, xCitrofortunella microcarpa, C. aurantifolik, G macroptera, hvstrix, limon and C_ gadisLa. The voucher specimens of Clausena anisum-. olens at the PNH was changed to Bergerk crenulata fide B.C. Stone, sched. 1991. E .D. Merrill received a type specimen of T,L grandifolia from Mindoro was established endemic and was recently collected in Palaui Island, Sta. Ana, Cagayan .
