Abstract
Oogenetic cells and chromosome during the different stages of meiosis of C. bi-unctata were investigated. Meiotic index was 15.94% and neulceoplasmic index was 0.009. the first meiotic division was reductional resulting to haploid chromosome number (n) equals to 10. Idiogram of pre-pachytene chromosomes and karyogram of diakinesis chromosome consisted of 9 autosomal bivalents plus XY chromosomes. The relative lengths of pre-pachytene autosome ranged from 0.035 to 0.084 while the two X-chromosomes measured 0.035 and 0.032. At diakinesis, the autosomes had relative lengths ranging from 0.074 to 0.156 while ses chromosomes measured 0.072. chromosomes were holocentric and clumpings were observed at diakinesis, metaphase 1, anaphase 1 telophase 1.
