Abstract
This study is about the evaluation of the existing corn crop insurance policy in the Philippines. The evaluation of the corn insurance plan was based on the amount of premium payments, cash benefits or indemnites received by the affected farmers in times of casualties, saleability of the corn insurance plan, and the stability or viability of the insurance company. The amount of premium payments were determined using the actuarial methods in crop insurance. Direct Method was utilized in the determination of the cash benefits. Saleability was based on the number of policies that had been issued at the end of the year. Stability, on the other hand, was based primarily on the financial resources of the company. Through these, proper evaluation and analysis has been made.
