Abstract

The plant practice was conducted at Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines Incorporated, Canlubang Plant from April 30 to May 22, 2012 with a total of 150 hours of work. The plant is the 22nd CCBPI Plant responsible for bottling of carbonated beverages, distilled water and mineralized water. The products manufactured in the plant include Coke, Sprite, Royal Tru Orange, Pop, Sparkle, Cheers, Wilkins and Viva. The trainee worked in the QA Laboratory and assigned to different work activities. Also, the trainee was exposed to the working environment and followed rules and the system in the company. The training provided understanding of the beverage manufacturing and the safety and quality programs imposed in the company. Furthermore, the trainee grasped that quality depends on the conformance of the product to specifications set by the company for specific products. The trainee was able to put in to actual work the theoretical knowledge and skills acquired from the company.
