Abstract
The hemocytes derived from the legs of newly-emerged N. lugens Biotype 3 populations was determined using the Rapid Giemsa squash method. Based on the identification key of Gupta (1979), the hemocytes from 50 males and 50 females consisted of spherule granules. Statistical analysis of the cell counts and sizes between hemocytes from male and female N lugens were unsignificant. Spherule granulocyte was the only hemocyte type encountered in the blood call of the newly emerged N. lugens, biotype 3 populations. In both sexes, the range of diameter was 4.2 to 5.88 u wide.
