Abstract

The plant practice was conducted in Nestlé Quality Assurance Center (NQAC) of Nestlé Philippines Inc. It was held from April 30, 2012 to May 25, 2012 for a total of 150 hours. The trainee learned the basic procedures and analytical techniques in minerals and macronutrient analyses, and the importance of quality checks in ensuring instrument and method performance. She understood and visualized the basic Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and lab safety. The trainee learned new skills and developed self-confidence in conducting assigned tasks and in dealing with people.
