Abstract

The training was conducted at CDO Foodsphere Inc. Mega Plant located at Malvar, Batangas. The training was for about six weeks starting from April 17 to May 25, 2012. The trainee was assigned to Quality Assurance department where good laboratory practices and different techniques of analysis were learned. Knowledge on technological advancement with regard to meat analysis was acquired. Methods on the analysis of the physicochemical and microbiological properties of meat were also learned. The trainee also gained knowledge and experience on how to establish a trained sensory panel. Commitment to work, time management, discipline and camaraderie were some of the values developed during the training.
