Abstract
The proximate chemical composition of coconuts from different regions of the Philippines was determined.
By calculations air dried samples used in each determinations were converted to moisture free basis.
the highest consistent of coconut is fat and the least is mineral.
Protein, fiber NFE (carbohydrates) and mineral constituents of coconut samples from different regions have no significant differences. There is however, a significant differences on the fat content.
