Abstract

The practicum was conducted at the Cake Plant of Goldilocks Bakeshop, Incorporated located at Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong, City from April 23, 2013 to May 24, 2013. Goldilocks is the largest Filipino ? owned bakeshop chain in the world. For over 47 years, it has satisfied the taste of people all over the world. During the practicum, the student was assigned at the quality assurance department where she stayed most of her time in the warehouse to check the raw materials received by the plant and at the production area to monitor the products being made and released by the plant. The student also performed microbial analysis at the quality assurance laboratory accompanied by the QAL Officer. The principles and theories learned by the student from the University were applied during the practicum. The student also acquired new techniques and skills during the stay in the plant. The student also encounters different people with different personalities and age and learned to improve social skills.
