Abstract

The plant practice was conducted at Southern Processing Corporation, a food processing Corporation, a food processing plant that manufactures processed goods for L.C Bigmak, at Lucena City Province of Quezon last April 10 to May 5, 2014 for a period of 156 hours. The food manufacturing plant was located along the Diversion Road, Brgy. Domoit, Lucena City it was divided into different units namely: Marketing, Human resource, Advertisements, Production, Quality Assurance and Control and Research and Development. The production unit was divided into sub-units that manufacture different products sold by the company, like hotdog, patty, sausag, ham bacon, longganisa, tocino, siomai, siopao and pork barbeque. As a Quality Assurance officer,. recieving of raw materials, quality inspection of the products, monitoring of storage room temperature and hygiene inspection of the workers was done to ensure the production of high quality and safe products.
