Abstract

The farm practice was conducted at 3J SLN Farm at Brgy. San Isidro, San Pablo City, Laguna from December 2014 to January 2015. The farm is a sire line nucleus enterprise which is located in an approximately 10 hectare land. It has a 200 sow level population. The student participated in the daily operations of the farm which includes management of different stages of swine production, record keeping and marketing. At the end, the student evaluated the farm by conducting an overall technical analysis which includes the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the farm. A list of recommendations was suggested based on the technical analysis which can help to improve the performance of the farm.
