The practicum was conducted at the Microbiology Laboratory from April 14-May 10, 2013. The student was able to perform a time and motion study of the different testing areas. In addition, the student was able to learn and observe the roles of each analyst while performing microbiological tests. Instruments used, such as autoclaves, Vitek, TECRA and ID32E, and microbiological test techniques like plating, addition of agar, and incubation were also learned. A parallel test of the raw materials testing was also performed. The student was able to experience a tour inside the production as well.
