Abstract
The study aimed at knowing the essentials of agritourism and its role as a model for promoting agricultural technologies and innovations that are available in the College of Agriculture and other Units of the University of the Philippines Los Baños. Agritourism is now gradually recognized in our country. It is an approach intending to contribute to agricultural development through diversification of farming activities and providing opportunities to enjoy and learn agriculture activities. Proper planning of agritourism development is very important to utilize every resource that is available. The College of Agriculture (CA) Agritourism Program is now pushing efforts to revitalize CA AgriPark where we can showcase agritourism enterprises of UPLB such as the creative gardens, fruit wines and fruit juices, fresh milk and white cheese and many more. In addition, it has also conceptualized the integration and coordination of agritourism-related resources and activities of the College of Agriculture and other units of UPLB to contribute in promoting technology commercialization, enterprise development, and entrepreneurship in Philippine agriculture. This creates venue for the different existing technologies and innovations of UPLB specifically CA to be showcased for commercialization.
