Abstract
In recent years, the progress in the global economy as well as the population growth somehow dictated the need for the construction of new as structures, both horizontal and vertical. The present fast-paced and ever-changing environment requires new improvements in the construction practices that are time-efficient, cost-effective and safe. The choice of temporary structures like scaffoldings, may spell failure or success in a given construction project. Choosing the appropriate scaffolds for a specific type of project can save time, material resources or even lives for the contractor or the owner or both.
