Abstract
The study investigated the tensile strength of concrete with Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) steel slag as partial replacement to coarse aggregate at varying curing period. In this study, 28-day and 90-day curing period were used. For every curing period, four concrete mixtures were evaluated with different partial replacement of EAF slag (0, 10, 20, and 30% replacement). Based on the statistical analysis, there was no significant difference in tensile strength of concrete with addition of EAF for both 28 and 29 day curing. Comparison between 287-day to 90-day curing using statistical analysis has shown that there was no significant effect in tensile strength of concrete for longer curing.
