Abstract

The practicum was conducted at Coca-Cola FEMSA Philippines, Inc. located at Brgy. Pulong, Sta. Cruz, Sta. Rosa, Laguna. The practicum started from June 8, 2015 to July 10, 2015 for a total of 240 hours. The student was assigned in three divisions ? Raw Materials Acceptance, Bottling Line and Process Line. She was allowed to perform activities such as conducting physico-chemical analysis of raw materials and full goods, in-line monitoring, QA validations and various tests for the quality of water used in the plant. She was also able to apply skills and laboratory techniques inside the plant. The student managed to be familiar with different equipment such as Hamilton Beach High-speed mixer and Zahm and Nagel D.T device. Moreover, the plant practice developed the student?s character and improved her perspective towards the working environment in the food industry. Minor problems were observed during the practicum and thus, recommendations were included in this report to be able to help improve some practices inside the plant vicinity.
