The objective of the plant practice is to gain new knowledge and hands-on experience of the processes in the industry. The author was assigned in the different divisions of the Quality Assurance Department: microbiology division, raw materials acceptance, hot fill line, and PET line. She was able to familiarize herself with the quality assurance practices employed in these divisions. The practicum has helped her to translate the theories and principles she learned in the different courses she took in the university into practical applications.
