Abstract

The student took her practicum at the milk and juice division of RFM Corporation at Km. 47, RFM Road, Brgy. Pulo, Cabuyao City, Philippines from June 8 to July 1, 2015. The milk and juice division helped the student experienced actual processing of products in the food industry. For 157 hours, the student experienced four different areas in the company namely cut-up room, in line, chemistry, and microbiology laboratory. These areas enhanced the students' skills in handling different laboratory analysis and understand the underlying principles and theories behind them. Also, the student experienced working with other people especially those that are knowledgeable in the food industry that enhances her interpersonal skills. With these, the student developed good public relations and proper work ethics.
