Abstract
The practicum was conducted at the Quality Assurance Department of Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Incorporated Canlubang Plant from April 8 to May 6, 2014 for a total of 1625 hours. The plant has six operating lines producing carbonated soft drinks, distilled and mineralized water. The two production lines are used for manufacturing Coke, Royal True Orange and Sprite in returnable glass bottles while the sixth line is assigned for manufacturing carbonated soft drinks in PET bottles. The remaining three lines are used for manufacturing Viva mineralized water and wilkins distilled water. The trainee was assigned to carbonated soft drinks in returnable glass botlle line, PET bottle line, water line and microbiological laboratory. At the end of the plant practice the students learned the strict monitoring of quality operations employed in manufacturing bottled water and beverage to maintain it specific quality. She also learned the processes of manufacturing beverage and was laso able to experience the activities being done in an actual processing plant.
