Abstract

Of the twenty-four American double cross hybrids tested, three hybrids from Tennesses - T0131, T00421, T0107, one from Georgia - Dixie 82, one from North Carolina - BC51 and one from Missouri - U8523W, proved promising when grown under Los Baños conditions in the dry season. Generally the hybrids from Wisconsin, Missouri, and Iowa were poor yielders.
