Abstract
UPCA Var. 1 and 4 were taller and gave significantly yield at a population of one plant to a hill than at two and three plants to a hill. On the other hand, Cupurico, Aroman white and Philippine Hybrid 1d were not significantly affected by number of plants to a hill.
