Abstract
A field test of 12 varieties of Holland Irish potato under low elevation condition revealed that Sientje was the most vigorous variety.
The most number of grade I tubers was obtained from Arka, grade II and III tubers from Patrones, and grade IV from Desiree. On the other hand, the heaviest grade I tubers was obtained from Arka, grade II from Patrones, and grade III from Radosa.
Extase had the largest polar diameter while Arka and Atleet gave the largest equatorial diameter. Sientje was the most resistant to common diseases and insect posts.
