Abstract
Single spray of ethrel hastened and accelerated the onset and induced uniform ripening of coffee berries. Higher concentrations accelerated the rate of ripening faster than lower concentrations. The degree and time of ripening were respectively directly and inversely proportional to the stage of fruit development and ethrel concentrations.
