Abstract
The anthocyanin pigmentation of the apiculus is controlled by two complimentary factor pairs and the stigma of rice, by three. The coloration of the leaf sheath is controlled by a different set of factor pairs. Segregation ratios of 9:7, 27:23 and 81:75 were observed.
The F2 plants of the five crosses headed nearer the early than the late parent.
