Abstract

During the dry season planting the mustard variety that gave the highest yield was Osaka Chusei, with an average yield of 158.63 grams per plant, followed by the following other varieties: Spinach, Chinese Mustard, and Southern Giant with an average yield of 154.0, 150.15 and 106.13 grams per plant respectively.

The wet season planting showed the same tendency but with less yield per plant. Osaka Chusei gave 112.15 grams per plant, Spinach 96.6 grams per plant, Chinese Mustard 94.35 grams per plant, and Southern Giant 79.15 grams per plant.

Only the Chinese Mustard variety flowered.
