Abstract
Sugarcane sprayed with 2, 4, 5-T gave higher apparent purity of Juice than those sprayed with 2,4-D PicuIs sugar per ton cane was also analyzed and the results reflected the difference between the effects the two chemical used. The study showed that 2,4,5-T has significant effects on the cane yield. However. this cannot be held conclusive because of certain variables which wore not taken fully into consideration as part this study.
Further study on 2,4,5-T should be conducted for advanced sugarcane culture. Better experimental designs to include other' variables like the masking effect Produce by the combinations of chemicals and levels, age of canes, season and growth stimulation should be employed. This chemical shows promising results in increasing sugar yield.
