Abstract

Two experiment (one in January, 1966 and the other in August, 1966) were undertaken to evaluate the yield response of Los Baños bush citao to various plant populations and nitrogen levels under Los Baños conditions.

Dry seed yield were significantly improved by nitrogen fertilization up to 100 kilograms but green pod yields were not. The spacing of the plants at 10 centimeters within the row gave the most satisfactory result in terms of yield and amount of planting materials used.
