Abstract

On the basis of the results obtained in this experiment, the best soil mixture for growing Marigold plants is a mixture with equal parts of sand and wood compost.

Soil mixture should possess a highwater holding capacity for proper growth and flowering of Marigold plants.

Fertilization should not exceed 15 grams (NH4)2S04 per 8-inches diameter pot to obtain best growth and flowering habit.
