Abstract

Three mungbean varieties with varying degrees of resistance against cercospora leaf spot were subjected in three harvesting techniques in testing for their second “flush” harvest potential.

CES 1D-21 and CES X-10 showed some second “flush” harvest potential but MG 50-10A appeared not suited for such harvest. The second “flush” yields of both CES 1D and X-D significantly increased their respectively

There were no marked differences in the first as well as in the second “flush” yields of pods harvested when 60, 80 or 100% of then have ripen.
