Abstract

An approach to resource allocation in budget planning for Dr. Jose P. Rizal Memorial district Hospital was developed using goal programming. Two models were formulated for demonstrating two sets of priorities and goals with preference to the chief doctor and to the head nurse.

A submodel was formulated to handle the priorities and goals of two models. Particularly in the recruitment of additional manpower. The introduction and formulation of the sensitivity experiment shows as much wider perspective of the submodel result.

Goal programming has been shown in this study as a decision technique for a specific district hospital.
