Abstract

A general analysis of variance program (FORTRAN) was developed for the IBM 1620. The program carries out a standard analysis of variance of more frequently employed experimental designs with data that can be arranged in factorial form.

A program was also developed to compute a complete set of totals and means of data used in the general analysis of variance program. These programs were tested on the data on grain yield (tons/ha.) of an experiment conducted at IRRI (dry season).
