Abstract
Reduction of the quadratic form in the three variables x, y, and z to its canonical form was done by choosing a rectangular coordinate transformation. Concepts of determinants, characteristics equations, and characteristic number were used in the analysis of quadratic form. Concepts on conic section were used in the discussion of the different types of quadtric surfaces and their corresponding graphs.
