Abstract

A study on the solution sets of the equation xⁿ¹ + y^n-1 = Zⁿ was made. The values of n for which the equation will have a positive integral solution was determined as well as its properties. The computer program that was made to determine the solution sets of the equation gave an output for n = 2,3,4,5,6, and 7. One family of solutions to the equation was given.
