Cardinal utility analysis of the reforestation projects in the Philippines
Abstract
The utility of reforestation projects was estimated through a cardinal utility approach. Of the 12 attributes investigated, 'increasing forest land' scored 29.28 whereas 'reforestation for exhibition' had the lowest score of 17.04. Among the various plans for future reforestation projects, Plan A ('continuing of the current projects') was the most preferred, whereas the 'do-nothing' option was least preferred. © 1991.
