Two new species of oribatids (Acari: Oribatida: Astegestidae, Lohmanniidae) and additional records of soil-inhabiting mites from Polillo Island, Philippines

Abstract
Three species of Phytoseiidae (Gamasida) and 15 species of Oribatida belonging to 9 families are added to the list of soil-inhabiting mites known from Polillo Island, Philippines. The oribatids include two new species, Meristacarus gapudi (Lohmannidae) and Sulcoribula filipina (Astegestidae) which are described as new to science. The latter is the second known in its genus worldwide.
